In addition to its artist-focused ITI Artist Programmes, ITI provides support and advice to the independent theatre sector through Information Clinics. These are offered on a broad range of subjects but some typical topics include: planning for a sustainable career; writing funding applications and budgeting; planning your next project; what you need to know about managing a company or project; national and international touring; showcasing and networking; presenting work at festivals; pitching your work.

NOTE: To schedule an Information Clinic normally requires your registration with ITI User Services (€25). In light of the difficulties facing individual artists due to changing employment circumstances caused by Coronvirus (COVID-19), this fee is currently being waived and clinics will be provided at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis.

ITI’s team is currently providing remote Information Clinics online via video calls/email and telephone.

If you have any queries that you would like to discuss with a member of the team please email info@irishtheatreinstitute.ie with the subject line ‘Information Clinic’, including your name, your phone number and a brief outline of your query. A member of the team will contact you to continue the discussion online. Information Clinic slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis dependent on availability and get booked very quickly. Advance booking is required.
