  • ITI is a resource organisation that nurtures, promotes and supports Irish theatre makers and Irish theatre. Through our artist supports programmes, networking and showcasing events, and the resources we provide to the sector we aim to maximise creative opportunities for theatre artists and producers in Ireland and internationally.

  • Come meet us! If you would like to discuss a specific topic or have a question, then register for ITI’s User Services and we will get in touch to schedule an Information Clinic.     Please note: due to General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) we are unable to share contact details for individuals in the sector without prior consent.

  • Visit our website PLAYOGRAPHYIreland and use the Search Function to search for a play title or playwright. You will find the rights information on the right hand of the screen for each entry. Use the Advanced Search option to filter your search, for example by cast size, year of production, etc. 

  • ITI does not offer a script-reading service. However, we are available through our Information Clinics to discuss your plans to get the work read and/or produced. Register for ITI’s User Services to schedule an Information Clinic here.

    A number of production companies and producing houses in Ireland accept unsolicited scripts including Abbey Theatre New Work Department, Bewley’s Café Theatre, Druid, Fishamble: The New Play Company, Lyric Theatre, The New Theatre, Rough Magic..

  • ITI does not provide grant aid. To discuss funding opportunities available to develop, present and tour your work register for ITI’s User Services to schedule an Information Clinic.

    For information on funding opportunities with national and public bodies including The Arts Council, local authority Arts Offices, and Culture Ireland visit each organisation’s website and/or subscribe to their newsletters.

  • We publish opportunities to work with ITI via the News Page of our website and on our social media channels. If you are interested in interning with ITI please email a recent copy of your CV with a cover letter to info@irishtheatreinstitute.ie.
