prime, in partnership with Age & Opportunity, provides career supports and training opportunities for theatre actors/artists aged 50+.

Since 2015, prime has offered professional theatre actors/artists the opportunity to engage in professional development programmes, to build their skills, develop their ideas and grow their networks to sustain a successful career.

The focus of the prime programme has included:

• Coaching Sessions
• Case Studies

• Pitching and Showcasing

Applications to participate in prime are accepted through open call, advertised annually on the News Page.

prime Platform is an opportunity for theatre actors/artists to platform their projects for an audience of invited artistic directors, programmers from festivals/venues, agents, casting directors and funding organisations. Since 2018, this Platform has ignited conversations and awareness about the range of exciting new work being created by actors in their prime.
