Irish Theatre Institute presents the 26th consecutive International Theatre eXchange, an opportunity for Irish theatre artists and companies, programmed during the festival, to develop their international networks and explore potential collaborations with programmers interested in presenting Irish work to their audiences.

Invited international presenters and producers experience a weekend programme of pitching, showcasing and networking events designed for Irish theatre artists and companies*, to develop their international connections and explore potential collaborations with programmers interested in presenting Irish work to their audiences.

The invited international presenters and producers experience a diverse range of Irish work including a curated Pitching Session, a series of rehearsed works ‘In Development’ and a programme of Irish festival productions. 

The deadline for registrations is the 20th September 2019. 

*Registration is open to Irish Artists presenting work as part of Dublin Theatre Festival 2019. 

SCHEDULE:

Friday 4th October 

VENUE: Peacock Stage at the Abbey Theatre 

10.00am Registration Opens and Coffee

10.45am (SHARP) Welcome by ITI and Culture Ireland

11.00am Pitching Sessions –

Five pitches by artists/companies with work ‘ready to tour’, curated by ITI, Culture Ireland and Dublin Theatre Festival (incl. Dublin Fringe Festival Wild Card)

VENUE: Project Arts Centre 

1.00pm In Development #1:

Rat King by Genevieve Hulme-Beaman, in collaboration with Ronan Phelan & Kate Ferris

2.00pm Networking Lunch

4.00pm In Development #2:

Vanishing by Doireann Coady, in collaboration with Jane Deasy
