IRISH THEATRE INSTITUTE (ITI) SEEKS AN AMBITIOUS AND HIGHLY-MOTIVATED DIRECTOR

Irish Theatre Institute (ITI) is a leading resource organisation that operates nationally and internationally, to nurture, promote, and drive the ambition of Irish theatre makers, playwrights and production companies. ITI’s work spans theatre and the performing arts with a particular focus on:

• artist supports
• artform development
• policy development

The Board of ITI wishes to appoint a dynamic, highly-motivated Director, with excellent interpersonal skills to lead and manage the organisation’s development and operations over the next
five years 2022–2026.

OUR DIRECTOR MUST HAVE:
• experience in leading and managing an arts organisation at a senior level
• experience of working with theatre makers and presenters nationally and internationally  
• a deep and practical understanding of the theatre and performing arts sector in Ireland and of the needs of theatre makers within this context.
