We are thrilled that Irish Theatre Institute (ITI) associated artists, both current and alums, feature strongly in this year’s Dublin Fringe Festival (the 30th edition) and Dublin Theatre Festival programmes.
A significant showing of Six in the Attic (SITA) 2023/24 artists, and SITA alums, feature across both festivals. We are also delighted to see a DUETS alum in Dublin Theatre Festival 2024 and an Offsite @ CoisCéim 2024 artist in Dublin Fringe Festival 2024.
ITI is particularly excited that a colleague and team member (and SITA alum) is included in the Dublin Theatre Festival programme.
Throughout the year, ITI mentors, supports and resources artists and theatre makers to develop, create and present world-class new work to audiences. We are proud to see this work premiering on stages and in venues across the city this September and October. We wish every success to the artists, theatre makers and arts workers involved in this year’s festival editions.

Irish Theatre Institute
ITI’s Six in the Attic provides theatre artists with space, time and practical resources coupled with the mentoring and advice services needed to explore, develop and make work. Through ongoing support and mentoring ITI offers these artists expert advice on a range of topics from networking and touring, funding schemes, financial management, artistic planning, and career development. On completing the SITA cycle artists are welcomed into the SITA Alumni group, with access to ongoing mentoring and career supports, as well as project management expertise.
Offsite @ CoisCéim residencies give theatre makers, particularly those whose work has elements of movement, a dedicated short-term space and resources for physical expression and experimentation. Organised by Irish Theatre Institute in association with CoisCéim Dance Theatre.
DUETS is an artist support initiative made with the combined expertise of Irish Theatre Institute (ITI), Fishamble: The New Play Company and Dublin Fringe Festival. The DUETS programme champions professional artists working in pairs to tell one-of-a-kind stories using the unique combination of their skills. The DUETS artists are supported by the combined expertise of all three partners: dramaturgy and development support from Fishamble, networking and producing know-how from ITI and the creative platform of Dublin Fringe Festival.
