IRISHTHEATRE.ie and PLAYOGRAPHYIreland enter a new phase of development

Following a period of essential rebuilding, urgent technical work and maintenance on our websites – IRISHTHEATRE.ie and PLAYOGRAPHYIreland – we are delighted to announce we are now actively updating both websites again. The team is working hard to ensure the databases are fully updated as quickly as possible.

This important and necessary work is made possible through an Arts Council Capacity Building Support Scheme Award which allows for greater functionality across both websites.

A FURTHER EXCITING PHASE FOR PLAYOGRAPHYIreland

We are also delighted to announce further details on the exciting next phase for PLAYOGRAPHYIreland, which will see theatre production images from Ireland’s most esteemed theatre photographers added to the website for the first time. In addition, the website will be improved with increased search functionality. This development of the website has been made possible through Community Heritage Grant Scheme 2023 funding from The Heritage Council of Ireland for the Preservation and Illumination of PLAYOGRAPHYIreland.

For now, we do ask for your patience while we enter a busy catch-up period across both websites. Updates can be sent to info@irishtheatreinstitute.ie and a member of the team will be in touch to confirm the details.
